China Chipmaker Says it Is Replacing Sanctioned Tools Rapidly

According to the CEO China's Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment (AMEC), the Chinese market for semiconductor manufacturing tools is relatively unscratched by US sanctions, with aims of replacing as many as 80% of the restricted tools by the end of 2023 and recovering a full 100% operational capability by the second half of 2024.
