Football fans will be gathering around their screens big and small today to watch the final two playoff games of the 2023 NFL season. With teams on the East Coast, West Coast, and in the Midwest all represented, the regional rivalry should be fierce—in a friendly way, of course.
The conference championships will take place on Sunday, January 28, between the AFC and the NFC conferences. The winners will determine which two teams advance to Super Bowl LVIII at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas on February 11. The games are spaced apart so you can watch them both, albeit on different networks. Here’s the lineup:
- 3 p.m. ET, AFC: The Kansas City Chiefs versus the Baltimore Ravens (airing on CBS, Paramount+)
- 6:30 p.m. ET, NFC: The Detroit Lions versus the San Francisco 49ers (airing on Fox)
Cord-cutters who want to watch the games or stream them on a computer, phone, or TV have a few different options.
Free ways to watch:
First and foremost, both games will be broadcast over the air, so viewers can watch them for free the old-fashioned way with a digital antenna. The Chiefs-Ravens game is on Fox and the Lions-49ers game is on CBS.
Watch the games on a streaming service:
Various streaming services will offer ways to watch one or both of the games live, although you will have to sign up for a subscription. If you’re a new subscriber, you might be able to get a free trial:
- Paramount+ (Chiefs-Ravens)
- YouTube TV (Fox and CBS)
- Fubo (Fox and CBS)
- Sling TV (Fox)
- Hulu + Live TV (Fox and CBS)
Note that you can also watch the games live on a phone or tablet if you sign up to the NFL+ streaming service. Good luck and enjoy the games!
