Radeon RX 9060 XT cards spotted on Amazon for $450 and up

New AMD graphics cards appear to be right around the corner. We’ve been hearing whispers of the RX 9060 XT for weeks, and just a few days ago a listing popped up on a Brazilian retail site. But this morning it looks like the big A itself is spilling the beans: Amazon has listed two different 9060 XT cards, and the cheaper one is “just” $450 USD.

VideoCardz spotted two XFX models on the American version of the site, chilling out in a store sub-page. While the full listings aren’t available, they show the cards at $449.99 for an 8GB version and $519.99 for a 16GB version. Details show a boosted clock speed of 3320 MHz and a purported launch date of June 5th. There are no photos.

For the sake of comparison, the next-up Radeon RX 9070 costs $549, at least at MSRP. (Good luck actually finding one at that price!) But just because these specific cards are listed at these prices doesn’t mean that these will be the MSRPs in AMD’s announcement, whenever that happens. Given that both cards are labelled as “OC” (overclocked) editions, it’s likely that they have the usual partner manufacturer markup.

I won’t hazard a guess at AMD’s pricing strategy at this point, though it’s worth noting that this card ostensibly competes with Nvidia’s RTX 5060 Ti, and that one costs $379 and $429 for 8GB and 16GB, respectively. We don’t have any official information on announcements or reveals, but Computex starts in less than two weeks. You don’t have to be Nostradamus to predict major PC hardware announcements at the show.
