Discounted MacBooks are still in stock for Prime Day: Save up to $400 on these laptops

Picking up a new MacBook can be a pricey endeavor, so we always like sharing when a great model is having a steep sale. Prime Day deals remain in full swing and have brought a high-end configuration of the 15-inch Apple MacBook Air M3 down to $1,299 — or a whopping $400 off its regular price. This model includes 24GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and typically costs $1,699. It was previous $450 off earlier during the sale, but we still think it's worth considering at this price if you want a specced-out MacBook Air with the biggest screen possible.

The M3 MacBook Air was our top budget pick for MacBooks, and we were impressed with its fast performance thanks to the M3 chip, as well as its sturdy and sleek design. We also enjoyed the six-speaker array on the 15-inch model, as well as the 3K Liquid Retina display. Thanks to these features and more, it earned a score of 90 in our hands-on review.

Our only real gripe was that the charging and USB-C ports are all on one side of the MacBook Air, which can make arranging peripherals a touch cluttered. It can also make charging just a little more complicated if you have to drape a charging cable around the laptop to reach the port on the other side.

It's also worth noting the newer M4 MacBook Air is also on sale for Prime Day. Both the 15-inch and 13-inch models are $150 off, down to $1,049 and $849, respectively, for each base configuration.
