Have you ever bought a streaming movie, only to find out the next day that it was already available on your Netflix/Hulu/Max/whatever you’re binging this month subscription? Well now you can get that wonderful feeling for PC games, too. But there’s a browser extension that can deal with it.
Is It On Game Pass tells you, well, whether a game is also on Game Pass, Microsoft’s omnibus subscription service. So far it only works if you’re browsing the Steam store in a standard web browser, but it’s surprisingly useful, integrating into both the standard store pages and the familiar search layout. It also includes price comparisons via gg.deals, which aggregates prices from the most popular web-based stores for game codes. Very nice. This should save a lot of searches on that awkward Game Pass page.

The Is It On Game Pass extension was made by Reddit poster Orion_DEIL, and spotted by Windows Central. At the time of writing it’s available on the Chrome Web Store (which means it’ll also work on Chromium-based browsers like Microsoft Edge or my browser bestie Vivaldi) and the Firefox extension repository.
