If you’re in the market for an inexpensive yet powerful gaming laptop, you’re in luck. Best Buy’s selling the Lenovo LOQ Gaming Laptop for just $749.99, which is a savings of $350. In case you’re not aware, Lenovo’s LOQ (pronounced “lock”) series of gaming laptops are more affordable than the manufacturer’s Legion line of midrange machines. This specific LOQ model sports an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4050 GPU as well as a high refresh rate (144Hz) display.
The rest of the hardware is pretty darn good, especially for the low price. In addition to the RTX 4050 GPU, the Lenovo LOQ is also rocking an AMD Ryzen 7 7840HS CPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. The RTX 4050 GPU is powerful enough to handle most older titles on the higher graphics setting, but for newer and more fast-paced games, I’d recommend reining it in and lowering the graphics. The display is also a roomy 15.6-inches with a resolution of 1920×1080 and the aforementioned 144Hz refresh rate.
This is a really good deal, but I can’t see it lasting very long. Get it now.
