Gamer breaks world record with 444 consoles connected to one TV

Al-Nasser’s console collection isn’t just impressive for its size, but also because he owns a very rare system called the Super A’can, a fourth-generation 1995 console that was only shortly available in Taiwan. (Only 12 games were released for it!)

Peek into Al-Nasser’s game room

In the Guinness World Records video, Al-Nasser gives us a glimpse into his game room where we see his setup: a total of 12 HDMI switches and 30 RCA switches so he can switch back and forth between the many gaming consoles on demand.

The TV itself only has four HDMI inputs, so Al-Nasser keeps an Excel spreadsheet that tracks the right buttons to press when he wants to play on a particular console.

Surprisingly, there are no cables to be seen anywhere, which indicates excellent cable management. “I used all the tools available on the market to organize the cables,” explains Al-Nasser.

Al-Nasser’s favorite gaming console

When asked which gaming console is “the best gaming console of all time,” Al-Nasser has a clear answer as he kisses his Sega Genesis, the 16-bit gaming console launched by Sega toward the end of the 1980s.

In the near future, Al-Nasser will probably have to think about how he can incorporate newer consoles. We expect the PlayStation 5 Pro and Nintendo Switch 2 to be released in 2025, and Microsoft is also likely to launch an improved Xbox Series X on the market.
