With a 1440p resolution (2560×1440) and speedy 240Hz refresh rate, it’s hitting the “sweet spot” for PC gamers at the moment, able to handle cinematic single-player games and fast-paced online multiplayer with equal aplomb. It also pairs well with a gaming laptop thanks to USB-C video support with 90 watts of charging, in addition to HDMI and DisplayPort options. I’d also pick up a VESA monitor arm with your savings if you want to spruce up your setup.
At this price, you’re getting a monitor from a very reputable brand with a 3-year warranty, which is nice peace of mind if you’re still wary of switching to OLED. But this is a limited-time offer. Newegg’s countdown timer shows that the deal will expire at midnight US Pacific time (that’s 3 AM Eastern), assuming stock doesn’t run out before then.
