The Little Colonel's Knight Comes Riding

The childish adventures of Lloyd Sherman, the Little Colonel, come to an end in The Little ColonelÃ¯Â¿Â½s Knight Comes Riding, the last in the Little Colonel series. After their return to Lloydsboro Valley, Kentucky, from Warwick Hall in Washington D.C., the Little Colonel and friends Kitty Walton and Betty Lewis find that the young boys they have grown up with have matured into graceful young men. The Little Colonel struggles between her desire to still be a child and her desire to live the life of a sophisticated young woman. But childhood sweetheart Rob MooreÃ¯Â¿Â½s proposal of marriage makes the Little Colonel all the more aware of her developing adult emotions.
