Hi all,
Not sure how to word this, so might sound blunt. The way the current world order viewes the west (Russia, Saudi and China) as well as other countries (Iran, Belarus, and so on) makes me doubt that the USA will be a world power for long (my opinion). As well as my lack of belief in the newer generation contributing in a meaningful way to stop this decline.
How can I economically maintain myself with this belief in mind, my thought include:
1.hedging with purerly international ETFs (but still companies that offer this are western companies)
Gold and other precious metals, but has a small return but very versatile
Cash, Diversify my cash into other currencies.
Sorry if this seems selfish, or shortsighted. But I have am a young person with a family (mom and a sibling) to consider.
Currently: Most of our assets currently are in ETFs and some Dividend paying stocks. With some being Canadian Cash and very little USD. As well as an home which we don't fully own.
Thank you in advance!
