Thoughts on a (very)Hypothetical Weed in Boom in Germany and the Rest of Europe

So it seems increasingly unlikely that Germany will be fully implementing the initial plan they announced last year any time soon and that even if legalization does happen initially it will be quite limited.

But let’s assume there is minimal opposition or they more or less tell everyone (including the EU) who doesen’t like it to go fuck themselves and Germany goes ahead with full scale commercial legalization by 2025 (IMHO the only reason this is not that likely is the lack of strong internal support rather any external factor).

What do you think are the chances a Canada/US style boom in weed stocks can repeat itself in Europe? Obviously nothing is certain yet but seems like international imports from outside the EU are likely to be very limited or impossible due to practical and legal reasons meaning all the production will remain local (so most Canadian/US companies shouldn't be able to profit from this too much if at all?)

Are there any publicly traded companies (e.g. in the medical sector) which might be in a good position to profit from legalization? Germany has twice as many as California and a significant proportion of produce will likely end up being “privately exported” to other EU countries. So for a couple of years until the market becomes oversaturated (probably not that likely before other countries start legalizing as well?) anyone capable of scaling up their supply fast enough might do quite well? Or is it more more likely they’ll go the way Canada did?

Also what about Poland? I don’t speak Polish (or as it should be obvious German for that matter..) but they seem to have been pretty chill about weed historically. Growing is sort-of semi legal there since you can buy and sell seeds (same applies to magic mushrooms for that matter). Their government seems to be “somewhat” conservative but do you think it’s in anyway realistic they might follow Germany due to economical reasons (their growers should be very competitive)?
