Starbucks in 2023 alone has closed 150 stores in the US. In the last 12 months Starbucks has closed 424 US stores which is 5% of total. Today there are 9000 Starbucks stores in the US down from 11300 in 2020. Over the last 2 years the company has lost $3.2B because of the pandemic, inflation, supply issues and shortages of key ingredients. As of February 2023 its debt stands at $14.3B . Last quarter it raised prices by 5%. And on July 2023 it will raise prices again. This stock latest price was $98. It seems this stock has just started its downhill.
