More than a year after an import ban forced the company to remove blood oxygen monitoring from some US Apple Watch models, Apple says it will introduce a redesigned version of the feature later today. In a post on its newsroom website, the company said the feature will roll out to Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, and Watch Ultra 2 users through joint Apple Watch and iPhone update.
"There will be no impact to Apple Watch units previously purchased that include the original Blood Oxygen feature, nor to Apple Watch units purchased outside of the US," Apple said.
