10 stocks for the next 10 years. What’s your pick?

Let’s assume you live in a world where there no other ways of investing your money except for individual stocks. No ETFs, no mutual funds, nothing. You have $10,000 and are asked to buy 10 different stocks and you can't modify or sell them for 10 years. What do you buy and why?

My List: $MSFT, $AAPL, $GOOGL, $FTNT, $WM, $DIS, $ABNB, $ASO, $WMT, $COST

I just got a notice from the IRS

I owe 6400 in taxes since 2021(never paid a cent so interest accrued and stuff). I bought stocks under my mom and dads account. So they are paying that off but now I got taxes I believe that I owe under my name(I don’t know how much since I did check my irs account and it says I owe nothing). I’ve gambled with crypto but I don’t think I’ve withdrawn a shit load to my bank. But I have 1 big question. I sent 4500 to my Coinbase account BUT I never sold or anything

Aswath Damodaran says many trading today are on "an extraordinarily dangerous pathway".

ChatGPT was prompted to create a question that would “annoy” legendary valuation professor at NYU, Damodaran. ChatGPT asked: "Can you give me a hot stock tip that will make me rich quickly, without any research or understanding of the company’s fundamentals?"

Damodaran – a man whose life and career are built on a calculated understanding of investing fundamentals – was amused, but admitted he hears similar questions frequent

When is it better to hold equal-weighted S&P ETF?

I have some cash I want to put back into the market. Is it better to buy equal-weighted instead of market-cap weighted S&P 500 ETF? Some reasons why:

  • Nvidia's advancements is going to "democratize AI" by making it cheaper. This means smaller companies might be able to displace bigger companies.

  • I expect a period of growth in the next 6-12 months due to rate hike pausing. In these type of environments investors ar

In Light of LULU, I bought more CROX

I've been in CROX a week or two and got more yesterday, a little more this morning. Now I know they are not at all the same thing, but they are both apparel companies with high growth currently.

CROX guided for almost identically the same EPS as LULU did last night. LULU traded up to 385 this morning and CROX trades at this moment 108.

CROX does have high debt, which is maybe one reason they don't get valued

Long term Electric Bike play?

I think EBikes have a long way to go in terms of acceptance and popularity. What are stocks that you all think will benefit from that trend? I considered Shimano (SMNNY) since they make components that are used across brands, but open to any other suggestions! Thanks!

I am 27 and feel like I do not have time left to invest and missed out on tech being cheap!

Hello all, I feel like at being 27 I have missed out on the lows of dec and tech has been in a bull YTD. Similar to 2020, that being said I can invest in other stuff that isnt moving like DIS or a different sector. Keep at it over time and build wealth. Should I save a lump sum and buy or DCA my way into the market? Also, I feel like I have no time left at 27

OPEN is setting up for a strong move

I already own the stock for fundamental reasons and looking to add, but I know people in this sub love trading opportunities so I thought I would bring this to your attention.

The technical picture is a classic setup for a bullish move out of a stage 1 base. Have a look yourself on a weekly chart.

1) Basing since Dec with a series of higher lows, forming a nice ascending triangle

2) Currently just below a strong weekly resistance around $3.0

AVGO - why the share price drop?

In spite of yesterday’s earnings beat and imporvoed projected Q3 forecasts, Broadcom continues to decline. Is this just profit taking or was the stock trading overvalued inspite of the earnings released?
