Does inflation rate reflect “down-trading”

How does the Fed (or whoever is calculating the inflation rate) take into account factors like people buying less expensive brands and other mitigation efforts people make to avoid the full impact of inflation? For instance, imagine you normally buy premium gas for your car but, with increased gas prices, you buy regular unleaded instead? Does the inflation rate only reflect the change in prices or does it account for changes in the composition of what people ac

Best stock/option picking service?

Does anybody have any recommendations for a stock/option picking service / buy sell alert for someone who wants to invest? Does anyone know of a source / list of REIT indices that are only Mortgage REITs and Commercial REITs? I am not so interested in indices containing Equity REITs and Residential REITs.

Thank you!

I see tons of different options, VWAPY, VWAGY… and several other combis.

Online I read about VWAPY vs VWAGY and prefer the P as I don’t care for voting rights and want more liquidity, but I can’t find much info on the others like VLKPF, VLKAF, etc.

Some ppl also recommend buying Porsche share instead of VW

If u just wanna get a good Volkswagen share that will rise as they expand the company. What would be a good one to just buy? Which woul
