I've noticed that Carvana $CVNA seems to be a stock that goes from -10% to as far as +80% every week. Is this a stock popular with swing traders? What makes a stock like this rise and fall so much? Is it a volatile stock and what are others like it?
So I'm trying to pose a question on the upcoming earnings call of bmo bank. Does anyone here know how you can go about doing that? They seem to have a higher than normal amount of uninsured depositors and I wanted to find out how they plan on paying the 300 million to the fdic.
Is it a good time time to buy stocks like Citi, JPM, BAC if you have a 5-10 years horizon? Looking at the dividend yield and thinking. I already have about 40% of my portfolio spread across these stocks. Another 15% in USB, JEF and SOFI.
The remaining 45% are spread across tech (MSFT, GOOG, AMZN - 20%), semi (TSM, Intel - 10%), O&G (OXY - 5%), VTI (10%).
Buy price are as follows: JPM - 135 Citi - 47.1 BAC - 32.3 USB - 37.3 JEF - 31.3 SOFI - 5.
Following a company earnings, understanding all their future goals and it's potential is not my passion and I don't want to invest time in it. So, I want to get rid of all my individual stocks and move them to ETFs. Is below a good diversification?
QQQ - 30% - Tech, Growth.
SCHD - 30% - Dividend, Industrial.
VHT - 20% - Health.
BOTZ - 20% - AI, Automation, Robotics.
Any new suggestions to add?
Edit: I'm a dumb dumb, it should be shareholder meeting, not board meeting. Can't edit the title, sorry.
tl;dr Unless you want a little bit of personal fluff, you can comment about your answer now.
So some time around the end of 2022 I get a piece of internationally marked mail, all the way from Israel, of all places. But then I see its from the ZIM board of directors and it begins to make sense. Still pretty wild to me they sent a piece of
So I’m just putting $1 into 12 different stocks, I’m thinking of getting some gas company available to buy on Cash App, and Exxon Mobil and Chevron seems like the safest choices, but I don’t know which one is better. Heres what I have as of now (Every stock has $1 in it): Nextracker Pepsi Walmart Toyota Kroger Union Pacific Microsoft NVIDIA Apple DoorDash and I’m thinking of getting American airlines.
So I take some money every month and allocate it to DCA into several ETFs. However, given high yield saving account rates being at 4-5% with no significant risk, is it better to put cash there or better to continue to grow/fund my ETF portfolio?
We hear be diversified over and over. But most are not diversified in other countries stocks. Does anyone here invest in specific country ETFs or specific stocks outside the USA? I mostly invested in VTI but don’t have much international exposure as VXUS has performed terribly. Meanwhile some country specific etfs have beat our VOO and VTI returns. So, who invest in specific country etfs and which countries?
I’m looking for stocks that are perfect to practice studying trends. Things like AT&T. Which stocks have been consistent in their price for the last 5-10 years. I’m talking about so solid that even during the pandemic they still moved the same. What are the very low volatile stocks?
Hey guys, I was thinking of investing in Palantir because data analysis is their bread and butter. I feel they are one of the best positioned to be in for generative AI. What do you think?
What are some of the other stocks you might feel have the most upside potential in the next few months?
