How much did the Trump-era Dodd-Frank rollbacks contribute to the recent bank failures?

Considering the key takeaways:

  1. Loosening of Volcker Rule
  2. Banks with less than $250 billion in assets were no longer required to undergo annual stress tests, compared to the $50 billion in assets before the deregulation

and more, but i think these are the key takeaways from the act

Why Price-to-Sales Multiples Are Nonsensical: When is the price-to-sales ratio meaningful?

We often hear analysts mention price-to-sales multiples on CNBC and Bloomberg. Are such multiples meaningful? I’ll explain why using sales multiples can be nonsensical and often reveals ignorance about valuation and financial concepts.

Not Understanding Those Who Contributed Capital to the Firm

The problem with price to sales is that it only takes into account one form of capital: the market capitalization of the common st

What’s up with these Chinese stocks?

Can someone explain what’s going on, is it just speculation, maybe the CCP trying to get money into its countries businesses by manipulating foreign markets? Social media pump and dump?

I really don’t know and am just trying to figure out, I understand that high volume stocks gain traction and trading activity, but why are they all Chinese based?

What company that is soon to report earnings do you have belief will go up significantly?

In this current market it feels like a casino. We were told in 2022 to just wait until late 2022 and into 2023 for the recession... Which was also supposed to be a pullback. AAPL earnings release bear case : MSFT missed big time on the Hardware part.

MSFT still crashed it, but it's mainly thanks to their software part of their business. AAPL on the other hand, has most of its income from hardware.

I'm just looking forward to hear your bear or bull cases specifically on this earnings report.

Why Activision Blizxard stock might be a steal.

I'm not going to pretend to be a financial advisor in any way. I'm just someone who is trying to learn how to take take some additional risks in stock investing, in addition to investing in ETFs.

Ok, so here's why I think Activision Blizzard will do very well in the coming months.

  1. Firstly, Diablo 4, one of Activision Blizzard's flagship series is going to come out on June 6th. This series (Diablo I, II, & III) have histori
Inovio pharmaceuticals

Thoughts on this pre-approval pharmaceutical company if anyone cares to discuss? Seems to have solid foundations but also has no products approved yet. Great possibilities for growth but perhaps a slow burner.

Its starting to get close to a good time to invest in high quality blue chip dividend companies

Is anyone else monitoring these? Have you jumped in any? Its always nice to buy a stock low on a company that has a consecutive streak of raising dividends and that has a stable financial situation. Which ones are you all monitoring? When will you decide to enter? I am monitoring the following:

(1) Abvvie

(2) Verizon

(3) AT&T

(4) Pfizer

(5) Exxon Mobil
