Best stable stock fidelity for Roth IRA?

Hi all, I just did a backdoor conversion with Fidelity and have some funds in a Roth IRA. Just curious which stable stocks with growth are best? It is in SPAXX money market right now, but looking for something with a good overall return maybe similar to CD or HYSA rates right now. Thanks!

Why do so many sites have different top gainers/losers?

I can understand that some sites will have internal filters for their own top gainers/losers lists, though it's frustrating that you have to essentially guess what those filters are.

However, what really confuses me is when sites that supposedly do not filter anything are still missing top gainers/losers found on other sites' lists.

For example, finviz screener, with zero filters, is missing top gainers that I see appear on investing.com&#3

How to Recover From 50k Loss?

So in the last 2 years, I tried “investing” in various high risk maneuvers (think literally everything risky possible - from GME to crypto to options trading) and managed to lose 50k. I ended up losing 20k very recently in the span of a few weeks by making very dumb moves in options trading.

I’m obviously pretty beat up about this, and ended up with only 32k in liquid cash left (but with 11k in my Roth IRA and 10k in my 401k). I learned all the convention

Looking to create a website that involves the stock market. Any ideas?

First, I know that there are numerous websites already (obviously) that people use as resources when it comes to the stock market and the chances someone would use my website for information is low. BUT (and I emphasize this) I am doing this for FUN. I don’t care if people don’t visit the website except for friends and family. I’ve created websites on Shopify before when I was into drop shipping so I have some experience in website creation. I’m thinking it woul

Shorts/Put Holders of $SBNY & $SIVB

To those of us who are holding on to puts (Assuming they didn't expire last week) or those who exercised and are now short- (naked shorts? ) now what do we do?

Do we just sit here and wait until these equities are either 'unhalted' or transferred over to OTC ? at which point will these securities be assigned the next price?

full disclosure - i was able to exercise only one put so i am now short SBNY @$5

Is this a decent strategy?

I understand that their is no “perfect” strategy to trading, but I’d like some input for this strategy

Basically I would be trading SPY options, specifically debit spreads; I would buy a call debit spread around $1-$3 more than the MKT price for about 2-5 days out. I would also do the same trade but as a put debit spread, same range $1-$3 from the MKT price for 2-5 days out. I would buy 5-10 contracts per trade, always close my spread before the expiratio

Bearish trends in lithium.

I've wrote about this before (see thread here), but the supply-side of Lithium mining appears to be booming with new mines coming online all over the world. It's increasingly seen as a critical metal and therefore is g

GME had about the same sales as last Christmas (-20 mil), but their inventory came down 260 mil more. Isn't that a red flag?

Sales almost the same as last Christmas. 2.226 bil vs 2.452

Inventory down 474 million vs 215 million last Christmas.

They usually keep it at around a billion and it's at 657 million now.

If they had replenished to their normal levels or as much as last Christmas wouldn't they have lost quite a bit this quarter?

It would have been nearly the same as their 190 mil loss last Christmas if the inventory levels had been the same.

What API to get accurate EPS history?

I was using Yahoo_fin to pull EPS history for 1200 stocks I follow but now Yahoo is now encrypting the stock symbols so it doesn't work anymore. I'm able to pull the last 4 quarters EPS history though Finnhub.io 's free API but some of their EPS is totally off from Fidelity or Yahoo Finance. Does anyone here have a recommendation for an accurate stock API?
