High-quality and lightweight directional on-camera microphone with 0.50” capsule and line gradient acoustic principle that delivers clear, crisp, directional audio with incredible ease of use. Its supercardioid polar pattern with tight pickup area focuses directly in front of the microphone and reduces other surrounding sounds. Microphone is equipped with JFET impedance converter with bipolar output buffer, 3.5 mm mini-jack output and rugged reinforced ABS construction. It also features integrated Rycote Lyre shock mount constructed from a single-piece of hard-wearing thermoplastic that isolates the microphone from bumps and vibrations interfering with sound, as well as integrated cold-shoe mount with 3/8” thread.
