Considerable knowledge of public school administration; Demonstrated ability to analyze data and provide alternative solutions to problems; Familiarity and competence in the development and use of sophisticated data processing support of operating programs; Broad knowledge in construction, budget and maintenance of facilities; Thorough knowledge of architectural and engineering processes; Familiarity with plant maintenance and operation, and fiscal management procedures; Demonstrated leadership, communication skills, interpersonal skills and organizational management; Proven analytical and problem-solving skills; Ability to assess supporting services policies and practices which promote an efficient and cohesive work environment; and Experience in budget analysis and preparation.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree from an accredited college or university required. A minimum of five (5) years of progressive, hands-on management experience required, preferably within the education and/or service sector. Previous experience in the areas of supporting services for a school system preferred. CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: None required. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervises and provides guidance/oversight to division personnel.
