Best Buy is selling the HP Victus for $449.99 during Black Friday week, which is a savings of $350. That’s an absolutely insane price for a gaming laptop with a discrete graphics card.
The HP Victus comes with an AMD Ryzen 5 7535HS CPU, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 2050 GPU, 8GB of RAM, and 512GB of SSD storage. The RTX 2050 GPU is two generations old and a bit underpowered, so you’ll need to dial the graphics settings back on newer and more intensive titles. That said, it’s absolutely worthwhile if you’re looking for a gaming laptop that won’t break the bank; you never find GPU-equipped notebooks this affordable, with anything under $1,000 being considered a deal.
