Razer recently announced the launch of Clio, a wireless speaker that’s actually a cushion that can be attached to your chair. The angled wings of the cushion each house a speaker with a 43mm driver and a passive radiator that promises clear treble sounds with deep, powerful bass that can be both heard and felt. There’s also support for THX Spatial Audio.
The Razer Clio is powered by a 5,400mAh battery that allegedly provides up to 14 hours of active, uninterrupted use on a single charge. The speaker can be connected via Bluetooth or Razer’s HyperSpeed Wireless protocol, and can also be paired with other speakers.
The Clio will have adjustable straps that Razer claims will work with most high-back gaming and office chairs. The Clio is priced at $229.99 via Razer’s own online store and scheduled for release on May 16th.
