The Ryzen 5 7520U CPU is a fantastic choice for simple needs, more than capable of handling your apps and browser tabs. Throw in the 16GB of RAM and you have yourself a sweet combo. It’s not easy to get a $400 laptop with 16GB of RAM, and that’s the minimum we’d recommend for Windows 11. The 15.6-inch touchscreen is also a nice get for the price, though the 1366×768 resolution is rather weak.
Apart from the small resolution, the only other real downside of this laptop is the 256GB SSD, which isn’t all that large once you consider how much space is taken up by the operating system. If you aren’t downloading lots of apps or large videos, then it should be fine—otherwise, expand it with a portable SSD. As for connectivity, you get an HDMI, two fast USB-A, one slower USB-A, and a 3.5mm headset jack.
