Hey, PCWorlders, here’s a tip for any TV buffs out there. I’d like to call myself that, but the truth is that my busy schedule means that watching anything on TV these days is a rare treat!
On the odd occasion I do get time, I tend to whittle away the short hour or so I have searching for something that I’d like to watch, which means by the time I find something I hardly get any viewing time at all.
That’s why I now use Streamin. It’s a free AI that provides an instant recommendation for a show or movie based on my preferences.
I just select categories like type, genre, and length of the TV show or movie I want to watch, include a short descriptor and press “Get recommendation,” to get a result.
In just a few seconds I get a concrete suggestion with a synopsis, information about the cast, and where to watch it.
Here’s the template I fill out…

Feeding in results for: A TV show, of medium length, in the genre history, and with the descriptor “I like the TV show Vikings,” gave me the below suggestion.

And that’s a wrap for this tip. I hope Streamin saves you some wasted leisure time like it has for me. If you’d like more tips like this, be sure to sign up to our Try This newsletter. We’ll send you two tech tips per week, every week to tryout yourself.
