ACT20X is a product line of signal converters for the Ex zone. With 11 mm width per channel, these compact devices need little space in the electrical cabinet. The signal converters have been specifically developed for process automation applications in hazardous (Ex) and non-hazardous zones The ACT20X series is capable of processing all standard input signals (2-wire HART, NAMUR, RTD, thermocouple and DC signals) from Ex zone 0. Alternatively, it can provide digital and analogue signals to control the field devices located within the explosion risk zone. Faults and error messages can be forwarded via the integrated relay outputs. This helps identify errors quickly and increases system availability. The WI-Manager configuration software is based on FDT (Field Device Tool) technology. The software allows you to configure all ACT20X devices with your PC so that they can be custom-fit to a wide variety of process applications.
