The series of brass cable glands feature an outer centric strain relief mechanism with clamping jaws. There is also a mechanism which uses a trumpet-shaped pressure nut to protect against bending. The cable gland is used for connecting non-stationary cables and lines (such as those found at construction sites or concerts).
