Last week we reported that Microsoft will roll out a fix for the spiking CPU usage problem in the classic Outlook app for Windows.
Classic Outlook may have been rendered obsolete by the new Outlook app for Windows users, but Microsoft isn’t leaving lingering Classic Outlook bugs un-squashed. Microsoft will also fix problems with blank sections appearing in some users’ calendar view, and the bug that makes the “special paste” keyboard shortcut Ctrl + Alt + V not work.
Fixes for the aforementioned issues will be sent out to beta testers in May and to the public in June, Bleeping Computer reports.
In recent months, Microsoft has patched several other bugs in the classic Outlook app, including a problem with the popular keyboard shortcut Ctrl C. Given that the baton has officially been passed to new Outlook, it may be wise to migrate to the fresher version sooner than later.
