Česká filharmonie, Jean Fournet – Debussy: Nocturnes, La Mer, Iberia

Rouen-born French conductor Jean Fournet was musical director of the Opéra cimique in Paris and of the Philharmonic orchestra of Dutch Radio in Rotterdam. He also taught conducting at the famous Ecole normale in Paris. He regularly worked with the Czech Philharmonic during the 1960's and this recording, featuring the best known orchestral works by Debussy, was created during this period.
