Nvda Hype , this time it’s AI

First it’s crypto hype followed by Metaverse hype and now it’s Gen AI hype . Don’t get me wrong , hype is good for market movement. With 200 P/E NVDA seems so overvalued even if you consider future business prospects. No one talks about Metaverse now and it’s trending topic a year back , Gen AI hype will subside . All I am saying is though trend is your friend, patience and fundamentals are important too

I Believe in Brightline — Where to Invest?

Like title says I believe in Brightline’s future in the US, but obviously it’s not a publicly traded company. I was wondering where I could find out information about Brightline’s key suppliers, to invest in components that should rise as the company expands, similarly to how you can invest in AI through investment in chip manufacturers.

Which company are you willing to buy its shares but never their products/services?

I am curious if you all have such cases. I've learned over the years that it's easier to invest in companies whose products/services I use but it's not really the best strategy as personal biases apply (ex: I use ASOS a lot for my clothes but their share has been getting hammered since the post-pandemic peak).

So, I've decided to actually search for solid companies to buy, even if I don't buy their products. Two quick examples of mine:

Meta Platforms ($META)

Shares of social media giant Meta Platforms have rallied by a phenomenal 107% year-to-date. The company impressed investors by returning back to revenue growth in the first quarter (after three straight quarters of decline) despite subdued digital ad spending due to macro pressures.

Investors have also cheered the company’s aggressive cost-cutting and streamlining efforts, including thousands of layoffs. Despite the distrac

Debt Ceiling Deal Impact on Investors.

Three things investors should watch for with this Debt ceiling deal.

  1. Fed meeting announcement on June 14th with expected 25 basis points lift on the interest rate.
  2. Treasuries affect Tech stocks with higher interest rates causing higher Treasury yields that could negatively impact Tech stocks.
  3. SoFi share price during Tuesday's market opening as the debt ceiling tentative agreement includes the student loan forbearance freeze to
Is Target looking to be a buy at this price?

Target has taken a massive dip due to its semi-exclusion of certain Pride Month LGBTQ+ merchandise, and I’m wondering if now is a good time to buy. It’s inevitable it rises again, seeing as it is a backbone of the general merchandise industry, or will it? Interested on y’all’s opinions.

How did y'all learn about reading financial statements?

I've been investing about 3 years and made around 150% profit cumulative on the Korean stock market.

The funny thing is I still don't know how to read financial statements.

I'm not a business major; I've never been into financial clubs.

How did y'all start learn to read financial statements? I want to start asap so that I can learn how to invest the standard way. Pretty pretty please with a cheese on top hehe

Egg freezing companies?

I'm starting to think that demand in egg freezing technology will rise in the future. There are many factors that make it difficult for current generations to plan for a child, and more factors that indicate it will only become more difficult for the coming generation.

In fact, the average age of marriage in Asian countries have risen quite a lot (mid 30s is normal in Korea), a lot of women have passion and prioritize their career growth (and there i
