Is hyliion a good buy?

Basically this stock has only plummeted since it’s ipo, but it reached a high of 5o some dollars, and is now at about a dollar. Would this be worth holding long term? I figure it can’t go down a ton more but it’s upside is huge. Is this a bad way of choosing stocks?

Low volume etfs

Hi all, is there any risks in buying low volume etfs. I know the popular ones have massive trading volume. But I have come across some low key ones that don't have nearly close to the volume of the big ones. Some are of course new vs the older ones being around for 10+ years. My main worry is when I try to sell them in the future, will I be able to if the volume is low. Also in terms of volume should I worry about the daily volume or monthly? Of course the E

$WOLF (Wolfspeed) down 18% after ER after disappointing guidance.

I am thinking that at this price, WOLF is a good longterm investment. It's got government backing and is just starting to ramp up its Mohawk facility for 200mm SiC wafers. Although next year revenues may not be as high as hoped, I think within the next 2-3 years this will be a $100 + stock. EV transition will be more full throttle by then, which will be a huge market that Wolfspeed can take advantage of domestically. The US dollar will also be hurting worse

AbbVie down 7%. Humira sales down 25% As Biosimilars Hammer Away At Sales

AbbVie (ABBV) stock crumbled Thursday after the first approved biosimilar copycat to launch in the U.S. hammered away at Humira's legendary sales. Though Amgen's (AMGN) biosimilar, dubbed Amjevita, launched halfway through the first quarter, global sales of immunology blockbuster Humira slumped more than 25% to $3.54 billion. Wall Street projected a steeper 30% decline, but Amjevita is only the first biosimilar to hit U.S. shelves. According to GoodRx, s

S&P 500? Which one exactly?

Hello. I have a question about etf funds mainly. I’m beginner here. After years in cryptocurrencies, I decided to regularly also invest a certain amount in a few stocks and mainly etfs. I would like to invest in the S&P 500 and I have already bought a few shares on the Trading 212 platform, but I am a bit confused as to whether I bought the “right” or the “real”S&P500. I am used to the fact that there is only one Bitcoin, and the same specific BTC is bou

CROX is in free fall today after a decent earnings report. Can someone help me understand why this is?

Here's some loss porn for you. I'm not a player by any means. I'm a newb and figured this would be a safe stock to buy 30 shares and make a few hundred bucks after a good earnings call.

Now it's in free fall. Dropped $30 per share SO FAR. I'm really trying not to panic sell and just ride out the dip but I am starting to panic a bit. Losing 1k in a day isn't the best feeling I gotta say.

Lyft to Cut at Least 1,200 Jobs in New Round of Layoffs to Reduce Costs

Lyft Inc. (LYFT) on Thursday disclosed more details about layoffs reported last week. In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, the ride-hailing company said it is laying off 1,072 employees, or about 26% of its workforce, and has eliminated more than 250 open positions. It will incur costs of $41 million to $47 million for severance and other employee benefits in the second quarter, the company said. Lyft also expects to incur other

Whats your best case of trying to catch a "falling knife"

For me It was quite recent with SCHW. When it dipped 20ish percent I thought it was a golden opportunity but then it dipped more and more for another -10%. I regret not being more patient and dont have the funds to average down. What about you guys.
