You probably all know oil dropped to I believe -70ish 1 or 2 years ago. And I was wondering what would happen to a position that was entered either at a negative level or at zero while the stock rises into the positive value? As I gather, the closer to zero, the larger the percentage-wise fluctuations, which mean it would become harder to risk manage.
Hi, I tend to invest in small-cap companies because I assume that the companies that will give the highest return at any given time must have a small market value in order to grow. Are there any major reasons to NOT invest in more than one fund if the funds have overlap? For example, if I'm in on a total market index fund, is it obviously problematic to go in on another fund like a target date retirement fund or non US market index fund?
