I have Ameritrade. I already own the stock and want to sell covered calls on it. If it gets called, will the system "see" that i own the shares and sell those? What i am worried about is them automatically buying "new" shares on the open market to fill the order if that occurs. I see the "covered call" strategy but that has to be done all at once.
