Back in 2004, Bernanke started raising rates. I believe he raised rates consecutively going into 2006. Stock market still went up into September 2007 despite the hikes. In 2017 to fall 2018, Yellen and Powell raised rates. The stock market also went up despite the hikes. Fast forward to late 2021. The stock market topped BEFORE the Fed started to hike. I think this is a sign that the bubble in 2021 was so monstrous that historical precedent didn't matter. Th
Hi everyone! I'm interested in investing in Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and was wondering what your favorite REITs are and why you like them. I currently have my eye on MPW, but I'm curious to see what other REITs people are invested in and what makes them a good investment. Are there any REITs that have performed particularly well for you over the years? Or any that you're keeping an eye on right now? I'd love to hear your thoughts and

I’m one of the many who are relatively young (30) and investing for the long haul. I’m 100% VOO, in my Roth IRA and taxable, the opinions on that are a completely separate topic.
Say I’m 60 and have been investing for decades and am ready to retire/live off my investments.
How is it done exactly?
I have dividends reinvested and since I don’t cash out and only contribute, I don’t pay much attention to my accounts. Currently working full ti

I'm looking to invest in the payment processing industry and have narrowed down my options to Square (SQ) and PayPal (PYPL). However, I'm having trouble deciding between the two companies.
On one hand, Square has been growing rapidly and has a diverse range of products and services such as their Cash App and Square Capital. On the other hand, PayPal has a strong brand recognition and is a well-established player in the industr
Hey, I'm interested in hearing what everyone's favorite dividend stocks are. As someone who values passive income, I've been building a portfolio of dividend-paying stocks and have recently started buying Medical Properties Trust (MPW) during a dip.
But I'm always looking for new ideas and opportunities. What are your favorite dividend stocks and why do you like them? Are there any undervalued or overlooked picks you think are worth consid
Hey everyone, I'm curious to know what the biggest holding in your portfolio is at the moment. Personally, I'm heavily invested in Amazon, as I believe the company's growth potential is still massive, especially in the e-commerce and cloud computing spaces.
But enough about me - what about you? Are you putting most of your eggs in one basket, or diversifying across multiple stocks or sectors? And what's the rationale behind your largest po
