Can somebody explain to me how ADBE will continue to have the kind of revenues they have when AI is basically going to completely kill their business model?
I know that the typical spin is that Adobe will have their own advanced AI programs that people will be willing to pay to use.
My argument is that there will be so many free AI editing programs that can edit videos, photos, audio, etc in a million different ways that actually paying a monthly s
Pretty much as title says, I’m just looking for someone to explain why Gold is ripping to ATHs while interest rates are this high?
It doesn’t make sense to me in that gold should be a hedge against inflation, which rates are as well, so why are investors flocking to gold when they can just purchase US Treasuries??
I’m really unsure where this is going but thinking about getting some shares of IAU and if anyone has any other plays for Gold feel fre
This stock was up to over $200 a share around 2000, crashed, recovered a bit and for the last decade is performing terribly. Is there any hope this recovers or does anyone know why the stock crashed to begin with.

I've not really been able to find a concise answer; hoping someone can help a layman out... Most of my money is in retirement (although same questions apply eventually), but I've started dabbling with Ameritrade the last couple years...
I understand the basics of paying taxes only on your profit, and the short term and long term capital gains. My question is, is there a standard on how this is done, and who has to track/know it?

Anyone with experience on Indivior (INVVY & IZQVF)? It’s currently a pink sheet otc, but based on recent developments about opioid reversing drug Narcan becoming over-the-counter, it could have some potential. Also, the fight against opioids seems to be gaining more attention on the news cycle.
Bear with me, am a total newbie: I am Canadian and bought USD stocks without converting not realizing that it wasn’t done automatically. I now have a neg USD cash balance. If I close this balance, does this mean that my stocks are no longer bought on a margin account? More importantly to me, does this mean I will not be charged any interest anymore? Thanks.
TLDR: UNH, MOH, NVO, LLY, ELV, TMO, DHR, ABT. Help me pick 1-4.

I initially bought Pfizer without knowing anything about stocks. It makes up about 5% of my portfolio now and really just seemed like a default buy. I now realize my mistake. My plan is to average down and then sell it once I reach a break even price (it's pretty cheap right now imo - PE is only 7, and even if I fuck this up, I'm confident it'll reach my buy
Hey everyone, just wanted to know your opinions. My understanding that Tesla sends out its deliveries numbers this weekend and they are projected to be pretty well, with the price reductions and China ease off. But what has been happening with the stock right now? I played 04/07 205c about two days ago and came out with +10% thankfully, but I expected a way better performance this week especially leading up to the weekend. I’m doubting placing another call at cl
The stock market remained strong even after multiple bank runs, liquidity crisis and some even going under.
The main doomsday scenario played out. Yet the stock market remained fairly resilient and did not crash like some would have expected.
I thought this could be big, however, considering a strong support from feds I don't think anything else could cause a crash.
So, bears, do you plan on sitting on the sidelines? If so, what is yo
