Wise people, is wash sale rule applicable to a notional profit on my sell trade.
Ex: I bought 10 shares of ABC @ 200 in 2021 and sell @ 210 in 2023. Within 30 days, I buy 10 shares of ABC. How does wash sale rule apply in the below scenarios:
- buy in same brokerage account
- buy in different bank brokerage
- buy in Roth/IRA
Thanks

To me, it would seem like this is a good buy, even after yesterdays 6% pop. The thought of selling did cross my mind but instead I plan to hold for a co
So I’ve noticed that SCHW has been dropping considerably and has not really rebounded much yet (compared to what it was before). What are your thoughts on it? Do you think the market is overreacting or do you think the current prices are justified?
