Ford Says It Will Lose $3 Billion on EVs in 2023

Ford said it estimates that it will lose $3 billion in 2023 on “Model e,” the name it has chosen for its EV division, separated as such from its internal-combustion division and its commercial division.

The announcement came as part of a plan today to explain to investors why Ford is changing its financial reporting structure. The gas-and-hybrid division is now called Ford Blue, and the commercial division is Ford Pro, alongside Model e. Ford is casting

Will AI face a huge backlash?

The markets seem to think that a lot of money is to be made from AI, that stocks using AI in their apps will do very well. But I think AI maybe banned or at least socially rejected. Things without AI may look attractive.

In social media, it seems AI chat bots can post comments and spread advertisements. People here won't know if they are replying to comments by AI chat bots or if there are real people. Advertisers maybe fooled into thinking it's a

Block’s response to short seller report

Block just put out a statement in response to Hindenburg’s report:

“We intend to work with the SEC and explore legal action against Hindenburg Research for the factually inaccurate and misleading report they shared about our Cash App business today.

Hindenburg is known for these types of attacks, which are designed solely to allow short sellers to profit from a declined stock price. We have reviewed the full report in the context of our own data an

Question regarding naked selling of options - Advice please

Short position has a higher risk than long po

Regional bank stocks rebounded early Thursday as the market digested remarks made by Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell and Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen.

Sources of upcoming market-moving events?

Sort of a broad noob question, but there's some flesh to it. Please bear with me.

Here's the DOW from yesterday - https://i.redd.it/8v2rhp55chpa1.png

There's a first movement related to Fed's rate announcement. This is obviously expected. Then there's a sell-off 1.5 hours later and the cause of that is - to me - unclear. Some say it's linked to Yellen statement on "no bl
