Back in November, Google integrated Imagen 3 into Google Workspace, allowing you to generate AI images directly in Google Docs. Last week, Google announced a new update to Imagen 3, which can now generate images of people within Google Workspace.
You can now use Imagen 3 to generate AI images of people in the Gemini app; with Gemini Advanced; in the sidebars of Google Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Slides; in Gmail; with “Help me create” in Google Docs and Vids; and with “Help me visualize” in Google Slides.
It may take until March 1st before this feature is rolled out to all users of the Gemini app, but it’s already been launched on the other platforms.
Google also says it’s now easier to use Gemini’s AI suggestions when sending emails via the Gmail app on Android and iOS. There’s now a button to directly paste the suggestions into your email drafts.
