If you’ve heard sounds from 20 years ago coming out of your PC when it starts up, it’s not haunted. Well, probably not. (I’m not in front of your computer and I’m not Egon Spengler, so I can’t say for sure.) But if you’ve been hearing the Vista boot noise instead of the more modern Windows 11 one, yeah, that’s a bug.

After Apple showed off an update to its macOS and iOS visual themes that was more than a bit reminiscent of Vista’s glassy translucent Aero look, Microsoft threw a little shade over on Instagram.
