Show HN: I built an AI agent that helps me invest

A while back, I built a simple app to track stocks. It pulled market data and generated daily reports based on my risk tolerance. Basically a personal investment assistant. It worked well enough that I kept going.

Now, the same framework helps me with real estate: comparing neighborhoods, checking flood risk, weather patterns, school zones, old vs. new builds, etc. It’s a messy, multi-variable decision—which turns out to be a great use case for AI agents.

Instead of ChatGPT or Grok 4, I

Ask HN: Why do Cursor, Windsurf and Claude Code dominate the conversation?

Just curious. So many threads used to be essentially Cursor vs Windsurf, Cursor alone as a presumed champion, and more recently Claude Code.

Basically never hear about Augment Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI, etc. which all seem pretty well respected. Or Replit, Bolt which seem to have huge user numbers (not professional devs though which is why I assume they're so under-represented here).

UX for Beginners

How Will AI Impact the Next Generation of Designers?

But what about future generations? For them, these tools will have always been an integral part of everyday life. Just as I can remember a time without smartphones, my teenage daughter can’t. How to avoid that your post about AI helps the hype

When we hype up the technology, we mostly help the people who put money into it. This post isn’t about those people or that money, maybe they could use the help… my point is, they are irrelevant when we want to understand the merits of AI. They muddy the waters and overshadow the important questions. https://webdesignernews.com/how-to-avoid-that-your-post-about-ai-helps-the-hype/
