The new Shared Calendar Improvements in the latest update to the classic version of Microsoft’s Outlook email client are causing a wide range of problems in the app, Microsoft says.
On the support page, which was last updated yesterday, Microsoft lists several issues that have already been resolved as well as several that remain in need of fixes. Those issues include meetings sometimes getting accidentally cancelled for some participants, attachments in meetings sometimes being accidentally deleted only to reappear later, and some users not seeing changes made to attachments.
Users are reporting all kinds of errors with the classic Outlook, but some of those reports are actually just how the mail app now works. For example, when appointments created by users with limited permissions disappear from the calendar, that isn’t a bug.
