Everyone fears when the battery on your smartphone is running low and you wonder whether you’ll make it home in time. Especially when important items such as tickets, payments, or other things are connected to it to make sure you get home.
Power banks provide a quick remedy here. But one thing that has always bothered me about them is the tangled mess of cables. When I want to charge my smartphone on the go, I usually already have my headphones plugged in and don’t want to have anything else hanging on and dragging me down with its weight.
So I was all the more curious when I discovered the $29.99 Anker Nano Power Bank on Amazon. It works completely without cables and is plugged directly into the USB-C port on your phone. I find it particularly useful that this makes the device even easier to grip, almost like a pop socket.
Also nice: The power bank is available in different colors, so you can choose one to match your smartphone. I opted for blue, because my smartphones are always blue or turquoise.

Anker
Always with you
It may sound a little exaggerated, but I actually never leave the house without my little power bank. Over time, my battery has simply become weaker and no longer lasts the whole day. Especially when I’m watching videos or writing lots of messages.
The 5,000 mAh capacity of my power bank is more than enough for everyday use, as it allows me to fully recharge my smartphone at least once if the battery has already dropped below 20 percent. That’s all you need, unless you want to connect several devices or a laptop.
I find it incredibly useful that Anker’s tiny power bank is equipped with a 22.5 percent fast charging function. This is rarely found on such small power banks, and ensures that the connected device is ready for use again in no time at all.
You can order the Anker Nano Powerbank from Amazon, where it costs $29.99 but can often be found on sale for as low as $19.99.
