Being able to snag a 4K monitor for less than $200 might sound like a dream, but it’s an actual reality right now. With today’s deal, you can snag an Acer EK321QK for $190 at B&H (was $300) and save a hefty $110 in the process. Not bad, especially for what you’re getting.
A few caveats right off the bat: this isn’t an OLED panel, it’s not even an IPS panel, but rather a VA panel, so don’t expect top-of-the-line colors and contrast and blacks (although it does support HDR10). It also maxes out at 60Hz of refresh and 4ms of response time, so not the best option for hardcore competitive gamers. No built-in speakers, no 3.5mm audio port, and the limited stand leaves something to be desired.
But if you can live with all of that, then this is an excellent option for a budget-friendly 4K display. The super-thin bezels look sleek and modern, allowing the 3840×2160 resolution to shine. At 31.5 inches, it’s big but not huge, and it has minimal tearing thanks to AMD FreeSync support. It has two HDMI ports and a DisplayPort for connectivity, and it has a VESA mount for attaching to a monitor arm.
