anyone use Surface Pro or Ipad or has used both with TDAmeritrade?

I need a portable tablet to load TDAmeritrade. Which of the two have you used and would you recommend? I'm leaning toward the Surface tablet, can anyone chime in with their own experiences with some light trading? This is not meant to replace my desktop which I use for charting, research, etc

How is Canadian Pacific Railway $CP taxed after the merger with KC Rail? American or Canadian?

I've been looking into $CP but can't find much information about it's tax implications after the merger with the American railway company, Kansas City. Since it has an HQ in both Canada and America (and listed in both New York and Toronto Stock Exchange), does this mean the dividends I receive (as an American) will be taxed/withhold for Canada?

More generally, is $CP considered a foreign (Canadian) stock, or American after the merger with Kan

Return On Capital Employed (ROCE): What Is It?

If you haven't worked with ROCE before, it measures the 'return' (pre-tax profit) a company generates from capital employed in its business. Analysts use this formula to calculate it for Graphic Packaging Holding:

Return on Capital Employed = Earnings Before Interest and Tax (EBIT) ÷ (Total Assets - Current Liabilities)

Twilio earnings

Wanted to get some thoughts on where Twilio stands. The stock is currently listed at $48.86 per share. It took quite a beating after posting earnings a couple of days ago.

Per the CNBC article: “Twilio stock falls on weaker-than-expected revenue forecast”:

Gifted Stock - Selling at a Loss

I’ll try and put it plainly, and hope you can help answer my question!

So I was gifted some stock a couple years ago. At the time, worth quite a bit, of money. Started as a penny stock. Even getting as high as life changing, unfortunately things happen, couldn’t get a broker to help me sel it, and I didn’t have the finances to go through all the legal procedures to get it to be sellable. And I’m in a better place financially to get a broker for it, but it

What % of daily volume do institutional investors aim for when executing large block trades using a VWAP algorithm?

Is there an industry standard for what % of daily volume should be bought/sold during a large block trade to avoid affecting the price too much?

Let's say you had a large institutional investor using a VWAP/TWAP/Iceberg method to sell a large block of Shares, how much of the daily volume would they be looking to sell?

Explain to me your EV investing strategy.

I do not really understand the people who say a car manufacturer like even ford are going to get ahead suddenly in EVs. Tesla is about to be larger than BMW within a year and have possibly the top selling vehicle in the world. They have stated they have no plans to stop expanding to keep margins up and can cut prices to gain overall market share. The evidence so far is that they are right.

We have seen other technology transitions where new competition l
