Dow Jones futures rise; a sale at Silicon Valley Bank closes; Microsoft, Tesla near buy points

Dow Jones futures rose slightly Sunday night, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq futures. The bank crisis is still in focus. Headlines have been relatively modest so far this weekend, though a deal may be close for FDIC-controlled Silicon Valley Bank.

A stock market rally attempt is ongoing, but the indexes have been volatile while breadth has been narrow.

The major indexes rose modestly for the week, but came far off weekly highs. The Russe

Does anyone think Lumen has a future? Or am I SOL?

I bought a bunch of Lumen before they abolished their dividend and now I'm stuck in the red with them wondering if I should hold on and try to get my average cost down, or just sell and use the loss to alleviate next tax season. (Before people start spamming "Why would you buy it in the first place?" Yes I know I'm an idiot. But I'm a changed man now and in 6 days it'll be a week since my last bad stock decision)

Bond outlook for the next few years

Hi Everyone,

I have been following the stock market for some time but know very little about bonds.

I am interested in buying some bonds to offset some volatility with a leveraged portfolio (2x all weather portfolio here): https://www.optimizedportfolio.com/all-weather-portfolio/

I am just wondering what the outlook would be for 20 year and 7-10 year treasuries in the n

Hello, everyone!

I'm in the process of helping a good non-immigrant friend start investing on stocks.

Unfortunately, he as a foreigner without an SSN cannot create an account.

Thus, could you please recommend me the best US brokerages for non-us citizens/residents/without SSN, please?

Thanks in advance!

Portfolio generator to mimic ETF?

Hi,

Would you know a website or app that lets you easily generate a portfolio of shares for direct investing based on an ETF or index you want to emulate?

Like I give it a ticker such as IWDA or an index like MSCI World and it tells me for a given amount invested how much I should own of Apple, Microsoft, etc. ?

Dollar Cost Average

Hi,

What would be the ideal frequency when performing dollar cost average? Currently, I'm putting $100 into VOO per week.

Would it be better to DCA: 1) Per Day 2) Per Week 3) Per Month 4) Per Quarter 5) Per Year

Thanks!

Surprised you don’t hear more about it on here…slow but steady growth an close to 11% dividend.

I’m still new to investing and doing my research, but interested to know others thoughts. Seems better than bonds etc at the moment..
