Automatically selling?

Sorry for the basic question. How do you/should I prepare for the unlikely event that a stock I am holding does very well very quickly? In other words, is it possible that if I'm not checking my financial app regularly I could theoretically miss a huge opportunity to sell? Is it likely that my app has a setting to auto sell at a certain amount in case I'm not paying close attention? Thank you.

Should I buy XM now before they go private?

Based on stats and trends is it looking like XM will go up before they go private? Is it a bad idea to buy CM now in the hopes that the stock price will be up when they sell? I already have stock in XM but unfortunately bought early on at a higher price than it is now and I’m looking for a way to recoup my losses. I expected the stock price to eventually get higher than what I bought in at but that’s no longer an option.

https://www.rollingstone.com/culture/culture-news/elon-musk-twitter-20-billion-value-1234703945/

Elon Musk revealed that he believes Twitter is currently worth $20 billion, or less than half the $44 billion he purchased it for just five months ago. In a companywide email Friday obtained by the New York Times about employee stock grants, Musk admi

Nvdia #NVDA is expensive but still has an excellent future and should be bought on dips.

• Nvidia #NVDA an expensive P/S ratio, but a reasonable P/E given its excellent profit margins.

• Generational AI growth is definitely not a panacea, but has started to gain traction as use cases expand beyond ChatGPT.

• Besides, higher performance computing is becoming a must have.

• Its Auto segment is doing extremely well, gaming rebounding, and data center still growing.

• Nvidia's new product innovation and exceptional R&

Who are Occidental Petroleum’s customers?

Hello everyone! I’ve been investing in #OXY for awhile as it’s my personal favorite stock. However, since I’ve been investing in them I can’t seem to find anything on their customers, other than some websites stating they export to other nations. Does anyone know which companies buy their oil and gas? For example certain gas stations and stores and possibly other energy companies?

Thank you in advance!

Qualcomm #QCOM is a good bargain at this price.
  • The loss of Apple's mobile business in FY 2025 should be mitigated by higher demand from Autos and IoT.
  • Qualcomm is a strong player in autos, growing over 40%.
  • There could be a significant upside to Qualcomm should autos and IoT perform as expected.
  • Qualcomm does stack up well with other cyclical and secular growth companies in the semiconductor industry.
  • I believe the loss of iPhones is well-priced in and the stock

Mc Donalds coupon deals changed!

They had $1 soft drinks any size and now that is off the table and offered as a coupon. Not only that, all foods also increased in price and there is less coupon to choose from compared to before. Now that the food is closer to other restaurants price (I know you pay for faster service but since we can just order or pre-order other foods for pick up Mc donalds service isn't much needed) I believe Mc donalds going to dip a bit the next few months, especially

Why does a stock price matter to a company?

I will get a bit philosophical here, so bear with me.

In public traded coorporations there is a high emphasis given to “please the shareholders”, and to increase the stock price and dividends.

But why is the stock price important at all?

“Squeezing employes” financially and increasing productivity, not for competitivness per se, but for dividends and stock prise increases.

On the other side of this equation there are hedge funds, an

Thoughts about BLDR

I am looking at the balance sheet of BLDR and actually it looks impressive to me.

Quite simple business, construction, high quality materials and installation services, windows, doors etc...

Their EPS keeps growing year after year and its revenue is steadily going up.

Appears to be a well-managed company with a strong financial position and impressive profitability ratios. BLDR has a price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio of 8.4, which is lower th
