Is buying options (outside of married puts) a valid investment strategy?

I’ve seen people lose all their savings on options and people who have multiplied their portfolios. It seems to be as risky of a play as penny stocks, which makes it in my opinion a rather fringe investment strategy.

Does anyone outside of WSBers and bats**t crazy risk-blind people consider buying options outside of married puts a valid investment strategy?

Is there a YT channel that ONLY educates and isnt pitching something throughout the vids? (Technical Analysis/Charting breakdown preferred)

So these guys have made more money than me of course, never traded a future in my life....but I really dont wanna do what they do. Call me skeptical, but i figured if it was as easy as listening to the hundreds of "investment youtubers" giving their financial advice a lot more lower class people would be growing their wealth.

I know theres always gonna be stuff/sponsors pitched cuz they gotta pay the bills....but is there anyone thats out there

Why NVDA keeps going up?

WTF is going on with NVDA? It keeps going up and it doesnt seem like it will stop anytime soon. I read some comments in about a couple weeks ago that many people are shorting @320 but it seems a pretty bad idea based on its trend lately. What’s your thought?

OILU appears to be a wise buy right now

OILU (will be honest) I do not totally understand I. I believe if oil that gay goes up 1.2% it being 3X leveraged to a nice $3.6% profit.

I think it is school class 1 in investing where it is said to never borrow money to invest. Well with leverage you are not borrowing but you do probably have an analogy to invest investing in leveraged projection ?

What happened with Babylon?

I bought Babylon stock. I’m a new investor, and saw the stock tumbling over 99%. Could someone help me understand what happened there? I’m aware the company is not profitable and didn’t have enough runway cash for the next year. I also see the company tumbled 70% at the news of it going private, receiving more funding from Albacore. Why is the news of going private bad?

Buying Stocks for Minors

When I was a kid my uncle would buy me stocks every year for my birthday and I could take hold of them when I was 18 - I want to do the same for my nephew who is turning one but I'm having a hard time researching the best way to do this. Any advice here? New to this subreddit. Thanks!

QQQ has been up 25% and SPY up 9% YTD. Are there still uncertainties that will trigger another major downturn?

interest rate hike will likely be done very soon. Inflation going down.

People are talking about recession for a year, is it still coming.

I see the market volatility decreased.

So is that it for this bear market? Are there still uncertainties that will trigger another major downturn?

Anecdotes from the market.

tl:dr - I'm seeking anecdotes from your history/exposure to the stock market.

Being on this subreddit for a few months now has exposed me to a vast amount of experiences that others have had on the market. Experiences that are both inspiring and insightful. For those who don't mind sharing, what are some of the stories/anecdotes that you can share of your experiences at the stock market ... good or bad ... some that made the news cycle and some th
