On the plus side, Western Union is generating a huge amount of income for its size ($910 million of net income in 2022 with a P/E ratio of 4.7). It has a net profit margin of 20% and the company is returning a bunch of cash to share holders with an 8.5% dividend and roughly $300 million per year in share buybacks. At first look, if you hold the stock for 5-10 years, you'll make your money back.
On the negative side, there aren't any real prospects
I have a roth 403b through employer that only offers SWPPX. When I eventually roll it over to a Roth IRA, I'm trying to figure out if there's any way to get my money out of SWPPX to something like VOO or a Fidelity fun without having to sell. Any thoughts?
Technically, beating the market only requires that your stock do better than the average (as represented by the S&P 500). So by that measure, Costco Wholesale has beaten the market so far this year by only falling 18.5%, compared to the market's 19.3% decline. Costco has been a long-term market outperformer (up 148% over five years compared to the S&P's 43% gain), which leaves many investors wondering if it can finish ahead this
This week's casual valuation is Beyond Meat. In my opinion, the company is completely worthless as a stand-alone company and I'll make my case below.
I hope you enjoy these weekly posts and feel free to add your take as well as agree/disagree with what is mentioned below.

So, while I was in the hospital last year, I went on a bored stock spree and forgot about it.
I just checked the account and I invested a total of $1,246. It’s saying I have just over 740k. There’s no way, right? I don’t even know how to check this. But that’s not possible in a year, right?
EDIT: I don’t know why everyone’s assuming I’m a guy. Im a girl. I DO NOT believe this is accurate. But I DID put in over 1k so I’m worried I won’t be able to
So I have been looking at the GaN-based semiconductor news for a while, and was wondering what are your biggest criticisms against it -- I know some of them like its high defect control when being manufactured. Also, I have been looking at NVTS a lot recently and would appreciate any arguments against it as well -- I've read their 10k and what they listed as their weaknesses, but would like to learn more about how well or not so well they compare against the

Almost $1.5 trillion of US commercial real estate debt comes due for repayment before the end of 2025. The big question facing those borrowers is who’s going to lend to them?
“Refinancing risks are front and center” for owners of properties from office buildings to stores and warehouses, Morgan Stanley analysts including James Egan wrote in a note this past week. “The maturity wall here is front-loaded. So are the associated risks.”

Is qqq worth too much to buy rn. I’m looking to buy 70 shares to start selling premiums. I should’ve bought some more when it was below 300 but I thought it would drop more. I feel like I’m chasing but I’m also inverting myself because this market could very well see this push up
Hi everyone. I'm curious to know which news sources, free or paid, do you rely on for latest market news, market moving events, etc....
I know there are some paid subscriptions out there, but I wonder if they are worth it or not, or which one you find us the most value. For example, recent events with say $FRC or $AI are huge opportunities for those who get the complete and accurate state of affairs first
On Wednesday April 12th, the March CPI will get released.
I have to deposit 6k for Roth IRA contributions by Friday's deadline so I am wondering if I should invest (VTI & QQQ) prior to April 12th or right after April 12th.
Any suggestions?
