Are there any stocks you bought since Jan 2021 that you are currently bag holding down 30% or more? What are they?

Thread inspiration was finding out a certain Stock Youtuber who pumped TTCF all through out 2021-2023 finally sold down probably 80-90% yesterday.

For myself the two I am currently bag holding is DIS and PYPL. I bought DIS at $185 in May 2021. And PYPL at $240 in March 2021. Im down at least 50% in both and my plan is to just keep holding. What stocks do you have in the same situation and what is your plan? Will you keep holding or will you cut losses at

Fill in the blank: I would almost definitely invest in ______ if they became publicly traded

To word the topic in another way, which companies that are currently private would you almost definitely invest in if they went public?

(Note that I say “almost,” because if it turns out that they’re actually bleeding money, I’m sure most of us would stay away.)

For me, two that instantly come to mind are Trader Joe’s and In-N-Out Burger. The brand loyalty surrounding these can’t be underestimated.

What stocks outside of the semiconductor stocks and mega cap tech will survive the AI hype cycle?

I think it can be agreed upon AMD, NVDA, TSM, GOOGL, and MSFT will survive the AI hype or bubble if you want to call it that. Or will at least be the top stocks mentioned in every one of the AI threads.

But what do you feel are the smaller companies that will survive and be around in the next 3-5 years? They dont have to be software companies they can also be the companies that store the data. Like the companies that own the data centers for example.

Manu stock acquisition play

I believe I’ve figured out a relatively risk free way to make money off MANU. Manchester United is going to either be acquired or partially bought out.

As of now, reports are there will be a partial buyout by sir Jim Ratcliffe. This would cause the share price to tank to pre-acquisition levels around the $13 range (at about $18 now). This is not set in stone yet, hence the lack of. a large price crash. Sheikh Jassim had previously bid 5 billion. There is

Can Peloton can ride through this storm?

Peloton went from being a 'lockdown darling item' to having to fight a number of PR battles, as a brand expert told MailOnline: 'I don't see how they can ride through this storm'. Despite once being considered a 'frontrunner' in the wave of fitness tech, customers may be put off by the latest PR disaster after it recalled more than two million of its exercise bikes over a safety hazard, PR and brand expert Mayah Riaz has claimed.

Should I hire a stock broker?

Haven't had luck trading on my own, and I have lost enough to where I just want to get some back of what I lost. I was told that once you lose money on a stock, it's lost, and it doesn't make sense to hold. That I might as well reinvest, but I don't want to make the same mistakes over and over. I don't mind paying a professional, but I don't know where to start. Thanks!

What are examples of companies with too much cash relative to market cap, to the point of hurting its stock potential?

I recently wrote a comment about the shareholder 'revolution' that is starting to emerge in Japan. Japanese companies are notorious for sitting on mountains of cash; they don't do large buybacks or dividends that let shareholders invest elsewhere, nor do they invest in projects with ROI. Let me quote some snippets (recommend reading

Are there matching tickers across exchanges?

For example, there's a stock ticker ABC on NYSE. Is there a stock ABC on any other exchanges? (TSX, CSE, TSE, NZE, etc etc.)
Like I know there aren't any 2 of the same tickers on NYSE and NASDAQ, but can this be said for all other exchanges?
